Patrick Trotti lives in Rochester, New York, where he is the founder and publisher of the indie literary press, LEFTOVER Books, a published author, and editor. Born in 1986 and raised in Tarrytown, New York, his first love was baseball.His short fiction has appeared in numerous literary journals, both online and in print. Some online pieces have appeared in Northwest Indiana Literary Journal, D.F.L. Lit, Death of Print, Plumb, This Zine Will Change Your Life, Subtle Fiction, Bartleby Snopes, and Poverty House.He’s the author of several books, including his debut novella, The Day The Cloud Stood Still, as well as the short story collections, Come Tomorrow You’ll Regret Today, The Persistence of Instability, and The Roles We Inherit. His next book, Quiet Hours, is due out in February 2026.While his work has explored multiple genres and various themes, his main focus is on literary fiction with an emphasis on noir, realist, and naturalist elements.He is currently, and perpetually, at work on a novel.
